Participants are assessed and instructed on their technique throughout the workshop to ensure they can perform each movement pattern safely and without pain. designed to help people living with Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Neuropathy, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury and other neurologic disorders and conditions. Find ways to move your bodies in ways that feel good, promote brain health and healing and improve your overall fitness. Activities will be chair-based, seated or standing at the chair, and will include adaptive yoga, PWR! Moves Mobility, core and trunk control, strength and balance training, dynamic stretching and more. This FREE trial class will kick off our new Neuro-Friendly Fitness online class starting on June 8. Designed for the individual who may struggle to participate in traditional group exercise programs, this class will be chair-based, so even if you're concerned about your balance, or need help walking around, or simply feel better exercising seated or standing at a surface for support, there is a place for you.

During this talk, we review the many benefits of regular physical activity, the CDC recommendations for physical activity and address the fears and concerns that frequently prevent people from exercising regularly.
