Position: Personal Trainer – Wellness365 Program

Location: Flexible - coverage across all territories currently needed including Arlington, Belmont, Danvers, Lynnfield, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Middleton, North Reading, Peabody, Reading, Saugus, Stoneham, Wakefield, Winchester and Woburn, Massachusetts.

Overall Goal / Role:

As a Wellness365 Personal Trainer, you will be the heart of our Tier 2 wellness program, implementing personalized exercise programs designed to improve functional fitness and independence. You’ll work closely with clients, monitoring their vital signs, promoting safety, and fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. Your role will contribute directly to our mission of supporting optimal aging through fitness-forward, holistic, and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Wellness Program Implementation:

  • Facilitate Wellness365 Tier 2 visits aligned with program standards and individual client goals.

  • Design and implement safe, effective, and evidence-based exercise routines tailored to clients’ functional needs.

  • Provide education and motivation to clients, ensuring they feel empowered in their fitness journey.

Documentation and Monitoring:

  • Document and bill for all sessions in a timely manner.

  • Accurately monitor and record vital signs (heart rate, BP, etc.) to ensure client safety.

  • Immediately report abnormal findings or safety concerns to the Wellness365 Director.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with physical therapists to support co-treatments, wellness classes, and overall client outcomes.

  • Maintain open communication with the Wellness365 Director, sharing updates on client progress and health changes.

Scheduling and Client Engagement:

  • Schedule and confirm client sessions in a timely manner, ensuring program adherence.

  • Respond promptly to client questions or concerns, providing professional support and guidance.

Professional Development and Compliance:

  • Maintain required certifications, including Personal Training, PWR! Moves and Adult CPR.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current on evidence-based practices.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Actively participate in team discussions and problem-solving to enhance care delivery.

  • Contribute to creating an innovative and supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, or equivalent).

  • PWR! Moves certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

  • Current Adult CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).

  • Experience working with older adults and understanding of age-related physical and functional changes.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Passion for promoting wellness and independence in the aging population.
