About Cara Dewey, PT, MSPT
Cara Dewey, MSPT, has 20+ years of out-patient Orthopedics experience evaluating and treating people with various post-op, chronic, and over-use diagnoses. By using a combination of interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and patient education, she helps her patients work towards achieving their functional goals. Along with her extensive experience working in Orthopedics, she also has a back ground in fall prevention having developed and implemented a fall prevention program for a large medical facility. She enjoys working with older adults with histories of falls or fear of falling work towards improving their balance, strength and functional abilities to enhance their quality of life. Cara strongly believes that encouraging movement, exercise, and overall wellness can help promote healthy aging. Cara is also a PWR! Moves-Certified therapist who is proud to offer this specialized therapy to her patients with Parkinson’s Disease, other movement disorders and mobility impairments.
