About Lina Poum, COTA/L

Lina Poum, COTA/L is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who earned her degree from North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA in 2018. Since then, she has worked in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care within skilled nursing facilities, and more recently in home health. Her clinical experience includes working with older adults managing a wide range of diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, stroke, neurological and cognitive impairments, complex medical conditions, and general age-related changes. Lina is certified in dementia care and brings a holistic, compassionate approach to her practice. She is especially passionate about helping older adults age in place by promoting independence, safety, and confidence in their own homes and communities. Lina is excited to join the Healthy Aging Physical Therapy team, drawn to its focus on maintenance, restorative, and wellness care. She values the unique opportunity home-based therapy offers to tailor interventions to each patient’s daily routines and environment. In addition to her clinical background, Lina brings valuable experience from her previous roles in case management and healthcare coordination, which have deepened her understanding of the broader needs of the aging population. Outside of work, Lina enjoys spending time with her family, exploring New England, attending live concerts, and learning about different cultures and traditions—a passion she carries with her into her work with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Lina sees patients living in Medford, Malden, Saugus and Melrose, Massachusetts and virtually via Telehealth. To request an visit with Lina Poum, COTA/L, fill out the form below:
