About Jessica McGuire, MS, OTR/L

Jessica is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist (# 9449) who graduated from The Boston School of Occupational Therapy at Tufts University in 2007. In 2010 she earned a post-professional certificate from Tufts University in the Hand and Upper Extremity. She started her career in a long term acute care hospital setting where she was immersed in a medically complex patient population, such as early stroke rehab, TBI, exacerbated neurological conditions, severe de-conditioning, and acute joint replacement. She worked in outpatient at New England Rehabilitation Hospital with a predominantly neurological population. There she was trained in various recovery devices such as Bioness, Saebo and Myomo. She has worked in acute care at Beverly Hospital, and has been working in home care since 2013. In 2020, she developed an interest in Pelvic Health Rehab and has completed Pelvic Rehab Manual Assessment and Treatment Techniques (PR-MATT) and OT Pioneers, which is recognized by the Herman and Wallace Institute as a level one equivalent, as well as other pelvic floor courses focusing on bladder and bowel management. She is ready to assist you in understanding your pelvic floor and how to manage your bladder and bowel incontinence. Jessica greatly enjoys working in the home care setting where she can focus on educating her patients to learn new skills, improve their home safety and daily wellness.

Jessica is also certified in PWR! Moves Therapy, and is proud to offer this specialized therapy to her patients with Parkinson’s Disease, other movement disorders and mobility impairments.
